my clubs

Sun Aug 16, 2009, 10:42 PM
Decided to make a list of the clubs/organizations I am in/watch.

:icon100themeschallenge: - A club dedicated to the 100 Themes Challenge; lists of 100 themes that an artist commits themselves to creating things based on. See my devID for my progress.

:iconclubkhr: - Fanclub for Katekyo Hitman Reborn! My faaaavourite manga/anime (of the veryvery few I've read XD)

:icondailylitdeviations: - You've all heard of Daily Deviations. *DailyLitDeviations is an organization dedicated to bringing the same kind of attention (or at least, very nearly the same) to writers specifically. They feature five pieces of literature in a news article every day.

:icondevinterviews: - They interview prominent deviants as well as unknown artists and post the interviews in news articles. Interesting reads, all of them.

:iconprompt-a-day: - Great for when the writer's block is bothering you. They provide one prompt every two days or so (so it's not really ';prompt a DAY' lol) and you write something based on the prompt and submit it.

:iconrawem0tion: - Literature is all about emotion and that's what this club focuses on. They do features, weekly themes, they hold contests, chats and interactive activities - definitely one of my favourites.

:iconsimplyprose: - Monthly prompts with the submissions featured in a news article focused specifically on my first love - prose. They do the occasional contest as well and provide excellent critiques on submissions, again focused on prose.

:iconthe-literati: - Contests, advice for writers, themes and prompts, even a book club. Excellent club for writers on dA.

:iconthe-novelist-club: - That's right, more prose, specifically novel-length prose. An opportunity for the novelists on dA to earn some attention and critique which as all novelists know is greatly valued.

:iconthefreewriteproject: - You know when you have so much going on in your head that you just want to write and you don't want to have to polish it to show to other people? That's what this club is for. Members are give the password and you log in, open up the 'add text' box on the submit deviation page and type. The only rule is no editing. Great for practice and/or emotion relief.

:iconthewritersmeow: - A place for writers to submit their work for constructive critism, attention etcetera. They host contests, a few interviews, some great writer's tips and quite a bit more. Pay 'em a visit.

YES THAT'S RIGHT. AN ENTIRE JOURNAL DEDICATED TO PIMPING MY CLUBS. DEAL WITH IT.
